What’s the story behind “Figoletta”?
A liaison between Figlmüller and cotoletta.

Not a break between—an extension of.

The name FIGOLETTA fuses “Figlmüller” and “Cotoletta”—a nod to our heritage and our new Italian reinvention as a pizzeria. At the same time, it’s a delightfully playful word: the “L” from our family name (and from cotoletta) links “figo” (cool, laid-back) with the Italian diminutive “-etta.” A name that expresses exactly who we are: a small, cool, independent interpretation of Italian cuisine with Viennese roots.

We can’t wait for you to visit FIGOLETTA and see for yourself.

Figoletta was born of an idea. From our longing for Italy and our love of honest craft. We travelled throughout Italy, worked with seasoned pizzaioli, experimented with all kinds of flour, tried, tested and refined ingredients. This is how passion and curiosity shaped a place where Viennese roots meet the spirit of the Mediterranean.

From day one, it was all about quality—flavour that lingers, craftsmanship you can taste. We experimented, tasted, tweaked—until every detail was just right. Figoletta was never meant to be a compromise, but a bridge: between Vienna and Italy.

That’s exactly what Figoletta stands for today—character, warmth and the courage to rethink tradition. A slice of Italy in the heart of Vienna, made with love, dedication and oodles of amore.
